Captive Desires Fire & Rescue apparatus

Our stations (updated)

We had a few ups & downs and as such made some changes. However, we seem to be "perking up" again finally. Here are some photos of our stations as of Sept. 22 2013.....

Station 1 (our Headquarters) is home to several things. The beach area shown below houses our rescue boats (and my home as well).

On the "upper" level we have the air rescue headquarters.

And the new Raimondo Trauma Center. all second Life agencies are encouraged to fly or transport victims here.

Station 2: is still located at the Antilaghi Regional Airport and is home to two rescue helicopters and a small office / day room space. It is one of our "outpost" stations.

Station 3: is the SL Medevac Fire Department. Housing a wide variety of fire equipment as well as two search and rescue helicopters.

Station 4: The Captive Desires Fire Department. Landlocked on a homestead sim CDFD provides fire and rescue services for the residents there, (More coming on this station soon as well as apparatus photos)

Weekend Fire Training at Captive Desires

For a change of pace we trained on multiple structure fires today. Drafting and ladder operations were the main focus, as well as mutual aid. Training was attended by members of the Captive Desires Fire Dept., Sunset Stables volunteer Fire Dept., and SL Medevac Fire & Rescue....

Structure fire: Claremont Airport

Our first structure fire of the weekend was a strange one. Apparently the fire chief of the Claremont Airport forgot to turn something off in the bay. The fire station caught on fire. SL Medevac Fire & Rescue responded because the Claremont Fire Dept. was unavailable. We made a good stop and saved the building and the apparatus  :)

Alien invasion?

Saturday night was far from normal in Second Life. Lt. McCaffery and Capt. Laville were patrolling the Blake Sea Indian region when a rather odd call came in from base....
We arrived on scene and found a rather odd aircraft...
It was called the Providence and was piloted by an alien / equine/ Borg hybrid cyborg. And the night just got weirder from there....

 Several military agencies responded

Luckily a nuclear crisis was averted and the invasion stalled off. They did say thry'd be back.....
